The officials from mining-related government departments of the Philippines, the representatives of more than 20 mining and trade service companies, and the commercial counselor from various countries attended the Conference to discuss the current development status and future prospects of the Philippine nickel industry and to plan a better tomorrow for the Philippine nickel industry.

Lygend Resources Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or "Lygend") was the only invited platinum sponsor. Dong Dong, Co-general Manager of the Company's trade division, represented the Company to attend the Conference, and attended the salon with the Director of Board of Investment of the Philippine Ministry of Finance and the Chairman of the Philippine Nickel Industry Association to discuss how the nickel processing industry can achieve greater efficiency in the Philippines.

The Conference opened with a message from Minister of Natural Resources Loyzaga, who delivered a speech on the Philippine mining industry, competitiveness, development prospects, and sustainability. Subsequently, Seto, Indonesia's Vice Minister of Investment and Mining Coordination, was invited to deliver a speech introducing the opportunities and challenges facing the mining and processing industry outside the Philippines. Using Indonesia's development experience as a case, he analyzed how the Philippines can learn from the experience and rise to the challenges. The leaders from the Philippine National Economic Development Agency, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Board of Investment jointly discussed how government departments should stimulate investment in the nickel mining industry and maintain competitiveness and stability.

The first salon in the afternoon was held under the theme of the future of the nickel processing industry. After a brief introduction by Zamora, President of the Asian Nickel Industry, Dong Dong, Co-general Manager of the Company's trade division, took the stage to attend the salon on behalf of the Company. Together with Echage, Director of the Board of Investment of the Philippine Ministry of Finance, and Ramos, Chairman of the Philippine Nickel Industry Association, they jointly put forward their suggestions and ideas on the development of the Philippine nickel processing industry.

Dong Dong compared and reviewed the 2022 industrial data of the Philippines and Indonesia. In terms of the future development of the Philippine nickel processing industry, Dong Dong suggested that the Philippines should give full play to its advantages, integrate industries, and focus on high-pressure acid leaching technology.

Dong Dong used the successful experience of the Company's Indonesia project as an example to introduce the construction experience of the OBI project from scratch, and from the green space project to the industrial parks, as well as the efforts and support made by the Indonesian government. He hoped that the Philippine government could draw beneficial experience from it, consolidate the foundation, and work with investors to create a better tomorrow for the Philippine nickel processing industry.

Finally, Dong Dong proposed that the development of the Philippine nickel mining industry is inseparable from government policy support and open cooperation from local mines. Lygend would continue to intensify its efforts in the Philippine nickel industry and be always ready to cooperate with Philippine enterprises to introduce cutting-edge technologies, to apply them to the local industry, and to jointly create a better future for the Philippines.
